AKM Industrieanlagen GmbH actively supports the commercial and industrial use of absorption refrigeration technologies (AKM).
These use physical processes to convert heat into cold. More specifically, it is about the use of heat e.g. from combined heat and power plants (CHP), solar and geothermal energy, district heating or from industrial processes with temperatures between +60 ° C and +180 ° C.

This can be used to generate cooling energy with temperatures between -60 ° C and +20 ° C, e.g. in the production, transport and storage of food, e.g. meat, fish, fruits and vegetables, milk products or beverages, especially in breweries and dairies.

For more than 30 realized industrial projects, machines for combined heat, power and cooling plants (KWKK) with decentralized CHP plants were manufactured, delivered and put into operation. Maintenance and service work are also part of the range of services offered.

Before each project, these complex energy composite systems always have the same task: Realizing an environmentally friendly and economical energy supply with electricity, heat and - currently more and more important - with "natural" cold.
